The name E.ON conjures up images of infinity, the company hasn’t been around nearly that long but it has operations suggesting that maybe it has. E.ON is one of Europe’s largest generators of electricity. The main holding firm is based in Germany but its UK operation has been one of the market leaders in the field. They operate as a supplier with limited distribution capabilities and rely mostly on the local DNOs for distribution of their electricity.
If you experience a power outage, instead of cursing or calling E.ON, you just might have a better chance of getting an answer if you ask your Distribution Network Operator. They are the ones who put up and maintain the electric lines that carry energy from E.ON power plants down to your home.
